Hidden City Quarterly was born from the lives of Baltimorean angst.
We were brought together in this peculiar city where the only culture seemed to exist exclusively in secret, encountered only through the intimate knowledge of the city and its gatekeepers. Once the secret was unearthed, a fertile soil of rich and powerful art revealed itself. The discovery of this hidden city created in us a desire to bring these concealed ideas and quiet voices to the mainstream. We seek to publish contemporary work that demonstrates a fresh perspective on prose and poetry. The next Hidden City Quarterly is scheduled to go to press Fall, 2008.
